Libretti

A libretto is the text used in an extended musical work such as an opera, operetta, masque, oratorio and cantata, musical, and ballet. The term “libretto” is also sometimes used to refer to the text of major liturgical works, such as mass, requiem, and sacred cantata. Matthew Dewey has written a number of libretti to works that he has composed music for.






Orchestration

Matthew Dewey has provided orchestrations for a range of scenarios including opera and theatrical performances.






Electroacoustic

All electroacoustic music is made with a combination of electronic technology and acoustic music. Some electroacoustic compositions make use of sounds not available to typical acoustic instruments, such as those used in a traditional orchestra. Matthew Dewey has written numerous electroacoustic works.
