On the issue of the music streaming website Spotify and how it’s “saving the music industry” [1] from financial loss resulting from piracy, I have a few comments to make. Little Suite for Strings

I’ve just recently finished work on a “Little Suite for Strings” which was commissioned by Grant Bewick for his Derwent Strings. It is a simple work in six movments for chamber strings that collects together six melodies of distinct character into an expression of pathos, fun, melancholy, tenderness and excitement. I look forward to the premiere coming up a bit later on in 2012!
