underwhere Performs to Sell-Out Crowds and Acclaim at the Adelaide Fringe Festival

Lucy Who productions this week presented “Underwhere” in a sell out season at the Adelaide Fringe Festival! Supported by funding from Arts Tasmania, the show featured at the Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM) – a meeting ground for Australian and International producers and festival makers. New Dance Work Scheduled for NYC Premiere in 2009

A new dance work by ¿grenzenlos? artistic director William Lane and Matthew Dewey is scheduled for a 2009 premiere in New York City at the HiFi Music Festival. The work, working title ‘Templum’ explores space as defined in ritual by auguries (Earth) and auspices (Sky). Earth and Sky are evoked as spiritual space and united through music / dance / projection. About William Lane Australian violist William Lane is a prize-winning solo artist, chamber musician, improviser, artistic director and collaborator.

Double Bill of Chamber Opera in Concert

In August 2007 at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music, two of Matthew Dewey’s chamber operas will be featured in concert, jointly produced by the IHOS Music Theatre Laboratory and the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music. The operas, ‘The Buzz of the Sea’and ‘The Death of Chatterton’ will be performed by some of Tasmania’s leading talents: Baritones Christopher Richardson and Michael Lampard and the fantastic pianist Karen Smithies.
